cortisol and stress
cortisol and stress-In normal people, cortisol levels in the blood are high on awakening but decrease during the day; if a person has the Cushing's syndrome, cortisol levels are high all of the time. Various testing need to be performed to determine whether the syndrome is from a tumor in the pituitary gland, adrenal gland, or elsewhere.
